Album Of
The Month - July
Chrome Division
- Booze, Broads And Beelzebub
On their sophomore outing, Shaggy, Ricky,
Eddie, Tony, & Björn seriously kill! These
doomsday riders really know how to rock out. They reflect
a prism of influences from the 70's & 80's, while
keeping their sound current and refreshing. The production
has definitely improved, and the songwriting is more
sound. Any fan of AC/DC, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy,
Accept, Scorpions, Venom, & Judas Priest will enjoy
the misfit mayhem of Chrome Division. There is plenty
of tease me, please me indulgence, and an overdose of
straight up Hard Rock 'n Roll ripping through my ears,
when I play this CD.

A few
words from the staff.....
The list of upcoming releases
is finally updated. Get up to date on what is
soon coming your way here.
//Tommy, July

Today we welcome yet another staff
member. His name is Dux and is from USA, and
he will concentrate on articles and reviews.
Due to his (compared to the rest of us old geezers)
fairly young age, he might bring a fresher and
different view on certain things around here
and can help broadening our horizons.
//Tommy, March

Today we added a new section called
Clip Of The Week. I wonder if you can guess
what you can find there and how often? You can
check it out here.

Today Metal Covenant marks a milestone
in the history of the site. The 1000th review
was posted (dvd/mcd/demo/live reviews excluded)
and Benedictum - Seasons Of Tragedy got the
honour of being the album in focus for that
event. The quality of the reviews were in the
name of honesty sometimes not that good in the
beginning, due to bad grammar and sometimes
lack of constructive criticism, but we hope
that we are heading the right way in that area.
We are delighted to be able to still do this
after all this time, and now we are heading
toward 2000 reviews. Make sure to be with us
then. Thank you all for the support during the
years.

Metal Covenant goes MySpace. We
decided to finally put up a small informative
page there as well. It is purely there for the
purpose of spreading our name and our adress
and does not contain anything new that is not
posted here on the main site. Not especially
interesting, but if you still want to check
it out, it can be found here.
