A standard album by all means and measures by melodic rockers Shakra. With their old singer Mark Fox back in the ranks after being away for two albums they have that great punch to the sound landscape again, even though no shadow at all should fall on the predecessor John Prakesh.

The album is, completely in line with the band's history, based on an abundance of solid and fat riffs and really catchy hooks and choruses, albeit nothing groundbreaking at all. It's the same familiar formula as always, but it definitely still works for me.

A really good album overall with no clear dips, although I miss a bit more energy and some real killer highlights. They play it pretty safe which in their case is a winning recipe.
